Family Representative Program Application Form
A Family Representative is someone who is passionate about strengthening families, and takes the responsibility of bringing helpful family-related ideas and resources to the attention of their congregation. The Family Representative may be an individual or a married couple, that have the endorsement and encouragement of their pastor or church leadership to serve in this capacity. This program is part of our commitment to assist the local church in responding to these issues and helping you to build strong and healthy families. What Does a Family Representative Receive? All you need is contained in the monthly "Family Moment" e-newsletter which consists of the following: - A ready-made "Family Moment" insert for the church newsletter. This insert includes a helpful commentart from key educators and experts - on a particular issue affecting families. This insert also contains helpful reviews of resources relating to the theme of the "Family Moment."
- Resources that are features each month are affered with a 15 percent discount.
- A guiding script that includes a thought-provoking quote or helpful tips from onw of the featured resources.
- Information on the activities of Focus on the Family New Zealand
- A resource order form.
How Much Time is Involved? Thats up to the family representative. Whilst we provide ideas for usoing the information we send, the family representative will know what best suits their congregation. Generally, only a small time commitment is required each month.
