The Family Guy
The Family Guy is a weekly radio feature of Focus on the Family's Executive Director, Tim Sisarich. It can be heard every Tuesday morning at 7:40am on New Zealand's Rhema.
Coming from a large family himself (he is the youngest of five children), Tim is a family guy at heart, and has a passion to help families thrive. He has been married to Jesmae since 1996, and they have three young children - twin boys, Matai and Ari and a girl named Nelah. His desire is to encourage us all as parents as we navigate our families through the minefield of life. Tim says that, "As a parent, one of my biggest desires is to ensure that I pass on a Godly Heritage and world view onto my children...ensuring that all the spiritual DNA that I pass on is Godly...or more to the point, to grow great kids who choose to love God and follow His ways!" Prior to his current role with Focus on the Family in 2006, Tim spent 12 years working in the media, both in front and behind the scenes. Tim and his wife have spent time abroad, including 18 months in Israel as volunteers on a Kibbutz. While there, he freelanced as a journalist for radio stations and newspapers in New Zealand, Australia, the US and Canada.
